Services

Accounting and valuation services

Accounting, tax, forensic accounting, valuation, and related work for businesses across Ontario.

Forensic Accounting

Work on disputes, investigations, and files that need the numbers explained to counsel or a court. That can include quantifying loss, tracing transactions, and preparing material that holds up under scrutiny. Litigation support and expert-witness work are included when the engagement calls for them.

Audit and Accounting

Year-end financial statements, audit or review where needed, corporate tax, and the ordinary work of keeping a private company in good order.

Family Business Office

Accounting, tax, and valuation for families that own an operating company, including succession and reorganizations.

Succession and tax planning

High Net-Worth Individuals

Personal tax and related planning when affairs go beyond a simple return, often alongside a private company or a family business.

Owner Managed Businesses

Year-end, tax, and practical advice for incorporated companies. This is the core of the practice.

Ontario accountant

SR&ED and Government Incentives

Help identifying and documenting Scientific Research and Experimental Development claims and related government incentive programs. The work sits alongside ordinary year-end and tax for private companies that do technical development, so the claim is tied to the accounts rather than treated as a standalone exercise.

Succession and Tax Planning

Planning for a sale, an estate freeze, or a transfer to the next generation. The focus is tax-aware structure and a supportable view of value when a CBV opinion or calculation is needed—not brokering the business itself. Family companies and owner-managers are the usual files.

Selling a business

Business Valuation

Independent business and securities valuation for purchase and sale, shareholder issues, reorganizations, family law, insurance, and estates.

Buying a Business

Financial due diligence, share versus asset analysis, and deal structure for buyers acquiring a company in Ontario.

Selling a Business

Cleaner financials, a supportable view of value, and an early look at tax and structure. This practice does not broker businesses.
